Corporate Member (“Member”) Policies and Guidelines |
Corporate Memberships run for
one year from the effective date
of the membership application
after approval by
BREIA.
1.)
General Meeting Exhibit Tables (when available)
a.
Any representative at the
Corporate Member exhibit must be an employee or a full-time
representative or the company. Membership dues provide for
the primary employee and one or two employees for no additional
door fee, depending on the Corporate Membership type chosen.
Additional attendees will be charged a door fee of $10.
This amount is subject to change by BREIA.
b.
The Member cannot resell
his table to anyone else without the explicit permission of
BREIA and with at least 48 hour notice.
c.
The presentation,
materials and the attire of the Member shall be professional and
in good taste as determined by BREIA.
d.
Advertisements on the
Member (T-shirts, signage, hats, jackets, etc.) shall be subtle
and in good taste as determined by BREIA. Garish,
obtrusive or unprofessional advertising (T-shirts, signage,
hats, jackets, etc.) or attire will not be permitted by BREIA
and the Member will have to remove the offensive signage or
leave the premises without any refund of his table fee. It
is BREIA’s sole discretion to determine the standards of
appropriate or offensive signage.
e.
Exhibitors are expected
to set up their table prior to the opening of the doors to the
public. The doors should open to the Members at 5:00pm and
set up should be completed by 5:30pm. These times
are subject to change but obviously the earlier the better to
get more interaction with the attendees, however, BREIA realizes
that because of unforeseen problems with traffic or Members’
office hours, Members may not be on time, every time, but it is
important that late arriving members set up their table or
display area as unobtrusively as possible.
f.
Members may distribute
flyers or brochures at his/her table and display one flyer ,
brochure (multiple copies) or a stack of business cards at the
BREIA designated Corporate Members’ Table (specific advertising
location). BREIA does monitor this table and will remove
and discard any literature or business cards placed there by
non-members, so Members should verify they are placing their
material on the table with a representative from BREIA and that
their membership is current.
g.
Flyers/brochures may not
be distributed to the general membership as handouts or on seats
unless preapproved by BREIA. Under no circumstances,
may Members position their personnel at the entrances or exits
to the meeting rooms or the facility where the event is being
held.
h.
Members may solicit
customers for fax/email addresses at their exhibit tables only.
2.)
BREIA’s Website
Depending on the level of corporate
membership, corporate members will be listed as preferred
vendors in the Corporate Member area. It is the obligation
of the Member to keep his Member information current at all
times.
3.)
Specific Policy
BREIA has the right and authority to cancel
or suspend a Member, if in BREIA’s sole discretion, the Member
has acted unethically or inappropriately with his clients, club
members, or the public in general. No refund for any
unused membership will be refunded for any reason if this
cancellation decision is made by BREIA. Member can appeal
this cancellation by written request to BREIA at 7801 SW 6th
Court, Plantation, FL 33324.
4.)
Changes of Policy
BREIA reserves the right to change any
polices in effect and add other policies at their discretion, at
any time.
